Yeah, I dance too! - Sabor @ Gatormania

So I've been Dancing on Sabor for 3 years now and her's a vid of our most recent performance. A VERY small performance at Gatormania (our team is like 50 deep and this is 5 lol)
My first time editing a dance video. = Challenge indeed.

We've got it all, Britney Spears, Merengue, Hip hop, and of courseSEXXXX.

Let me know what you think. Editing, dance, hotness (or notness) whatever.

Jeanie J. for Faces Modeling Troupe

I love working with Jeanie. :)
This is the product of a trip to shoot the Tallahassee chapter of Faces Modeling Troupe.
This particular "shoot" took like 5 maybe 10 minutes and was totally a spur of the moment "hey, i wanna try this" right before I left Tallahassee.
More stuff to come soon. Great work was done.
THIS is proof that modeling troupes don't have to just be "play play."
I love my chapter! (throws up F)lol.
And I'd love your comments/critiques/thoughts.

So you think you can pose?

A model I worked with shared this with me and I'm so in love.
A video of Coca rocha going through facial expressions/poses. Amazing.

And here is Chanel Iman behind the scenes at a Giant Magazine shoot. I found this so this post didn't seem so empty, but I love her comfort in front of the camera.
Budding models take note. :)

Give me my damn money

A fashion photographer I really respect on a modelmayhem told me that my style was nice and I executed my concepts well. In regards to what I shoot he said "style = fashion" and to keep working at it.
This made my day and helped pull me out of a bit of a rut I was in.
He also had this video on his profile and said photographers that shoot for free should watch.
(watch to get the point of the post)

Hell fuck yeah. Pay the writer/photographer/designer/make-up/hair/artist.
The mix of his encouragement and this video has enhanced my mindset that people should respect my craft more. I feel like I just got the balls to take this much more seriously. After this $30 photoshoot crap, prices will reflect my level of work and should skyrocket in comparison to what they are now.
Too many people that KNOW I'm shooting at these ultra cheap prices still tryin to get freebies. wtf? If your facebook friend worked in the mall do you expect them to give you free clothes?
I'm not God's gift to photography and fashion, but I know my work is worth more than $30. ...now at least. lol

But yeah, hope you enjoyed.
Now some work by the photographer that inspired this rant. An example of what I look to for inspiration

Why did I pledge this shit?

I love these little animated videos i've been seeing on youtube, they're hilarious.
It's old, but if you haven't seen it this one is features two AKAs talking about their process. I personally don't care what your "process" is, but I think this vid presented stuff people take seriously in a really comical matter. Take it as you may.
Dead @ "sweet AKA" - "sweet it's pizza day"
"I learned how to treat a paper cut"
"they ran that good 'ole alpha train on me"

Some of the related vids are funny too. like this one with a zeta conversing with an IG
"i didn't know men gave birth to cows"
"i've gota body like beyonce in this bitch lol

I also like this one with brandy and keri hilson dissing each other. Brandy goes hard. lol
Dead @ "barely went aluminum"
"and kill a bitch just to become relevant"
"rocking braids since birth" -HAA!

PS - don't take this too seriously, it's all in jest.
thoughts?

Alice in wonderland

I'm sure i'm not the only one excited about Tim Burton's Alice in wonderland. Here's some of the concept art and I've decided to include a few other iterations of the Iconic character.
The classic Disney Alice we all love.
